This website is operated by Schroeder Advisory Group, LLC, the advisory practice of Dolores K. Schroeder, based in San Antonio, Texas, United States (“Schroeder Advisory Group,” “we,” “our”). We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

We collect the minimum information needed to operate this site and respond to the people who write to us. This site sets no cookies of any kind unless you choose to accept analytics. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we use no advertising or social-media tracking technologies.

Contact form. If you write to us, we receive your name, email address, organization (optional), and message. It is delivered to our inbox by Resend, our email delivery provider, and used solely to respond to you.

Analytics — only with your consent. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics collects aggregate usage data: pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. If you decline — or simply never choose — no analytics code loads and no request reaches Google.

Hosting logs. Our host, Vercel, processes IP addresses and request metadata transiently as part of operating and securing the site.

Document library. Documents are served from this site’s own domain. Viewing or downloading one requires no Google account and shares nothing about you with Google. If you follow the optional “Open in Google Drive” link on a document page, Google’s own terms and privacy policy apply from that point.

Until you accept analytics, this site stores nothing in your browser except the record of your consent choice itself. If you accept, Google Analytics sets the cookies below.

We use the information above to respond to inquiries, to understand aggregate site use so we can improve what we publish (only where you have consented to analytics), and to operate and secure the site. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on the following legal bases under Article 6 GDPR:

• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — analytics.
• Steps prior to entering an engagement (Art. 6(1)(b)) — handling your contact-form inquiry.
• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — site security and operations logs.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Visitors in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

For United States residents, state privacy laws — including the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act and the California Consumer Privacy Act — provide similar rights, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under these laws.

As a small advisory practice we may fall below the applicability thresholds of some of these statutes. We nonetheless extend equivalent rights to all visitors, wherever located, as a matter of practice: write to privacy@schroederadvisorygroup.com and we will respond.

You can change your analytics choice at any time — withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of any page, or the button below. Withdrawing removes the Google Analytics cookies from your browser and stops any further measurement immediately.

We share information only with the service providers that run this site, and only for the purposes described here: Vercel (hosting and content delivery, USA), Resend (contact-form email delivery, USA), and Google (analytics — only after you consent — and the storage backend for our document library, USA). We have no advertising or data-broker relationships, and we never sell personal information.

Contact inquiries are kept as long as needed to handle the conversation they start. Analytics event data is retained by Google Analytics for two months, the shortest period the service offers. Your consent record is kept for twelve months, after which we ask again.

This site is operated from the United States, and the providers above process data here. If you visit from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, your information is transferred to the United States under recognized safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16 (or under 13 in the United States).

When this policy changes materially, we update the “Last updated” date above. Where a change affects what your analytics consent covers, we ask for consent again before any measurement resumes.
